The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually to each farmer’s family, distributed in three installments of Rs 2,000 every four months.  The scheme’s coverage has been expanded to include all farmer families, regardless of land holdings’ size, to reach more farmers in need.
