It is a retirement solution fund where the investors invest their money for a lock-in period of five years or until retirement (i.e., completion of 65 years of age), whichever is earlier. Under its four plans, the Aggressive Plan Direct-Growth has assets under management (AUM) worth Rs 1,719 crore. With an expense ratio of 0.86 per cent, the fund has delivered 22.09 per cent average annual returns, the highest among the four plans.
SBI Retirement Benefit Fund: Plans
The SBI Retirement Benefit Fund comes with four investment plans: Aggressive, Aggressive Hybrid, Conservative Hybrid, and Conservative. These plans are invested across equity, equity and debt instruments as well as government securities.
Besides that, the fund also offers two investment options like Auto transfer plan and My choice plan.
SBI Retirement Benefit Fund: Returns
The SBI Retirement Benefit Fund-Aggressive- Direct plan has given 20.17 per cent return since February 2021 while the regular plan has given 18.67 per cent returns.
The SBI Retirement Benefit Fund-Aggressive- Hybrid-Regular Growth plan has given an annualised return of 17.67 per cent since inception.
In the case of SBI Retirement Benefit Fund Conservative Hybrid plan the investors have received 11 per cent annualised return since inception.
The SBI Retirement Benefit Fund Conservative plan has given an annualised return of 8 per cent in more than two years since its launch.
